Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Vientiane - City tour
    Upon arrival, explore the city's most significant cultural sites, including Wat Sisaket with its thousands of Buddha statues, the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, and the iconic That Luang Stupa. Visit the Patuxay Monument, reminiscent of Paris' Arc de Triumph, and learn about Laos' history at the COPE Center, which supports survivors of unexploded ordnance from the Indochina War. End your day with a serene sunset by the Mekong River.

  • Day 2: Vientiane – Nam Ngum Lake excursion
    After breakfast, we head out of the city and make our way to Nam Ngum, a huge reservoir created by damming the Nam Ngum River. We stop over at Ban Keun, which is famous for its salt extraction facility. On arrival at Nam Ngum Lake, we embark on a long tail boat visiting fishing villages in the various islets along the way. We take a short walk to explore the lifestyle of the local fishmen.

    We return to Vientiane in late evening and your evening is free. Overnight in Vientiane

  • Day 3: Vientiane – Departure
